| Bio: | Names: Tiffany and Gossamer Vercingetorix Gender: Female Race: Fae Age: 16 DOB: June 17, 1990 Birth Location: England </center> Appearance: Obviously very simmilar in appearance, though there are differences. Both have incredibly tiny, almost childlike frames, but this is typical of their race and they are far from children. Both have brilliant, sapphire eyes. Pale, diaphanous skin shimmers with a faint layer of (faerie) dust. Delicate iridescent, gossamer wings can be pulled tight against their backs, and are actually a double set... tiny for flittering, much larger for more serious flight. PB: the Olsen twins, natch Gossamer: The blond one. At 4'10", she is about an inch taller then her twin. Large blue/green eyes give her an innocent look, though her lips are often twisted in a devious smirk. A scar wraps around her left ankle from when she got tangled in a trap as a child and nearly caught. She would have lost her foot in the ordeal had her sister not intervened.Tiffany: Darker hair, a more oval face, and deeper, darker blue eyes. In the right lighting, her wings tend to have a more brilliant, though darker hue then her sister's wings. Whereas Gossamer is more dominant on the left, Tiffany prevails on the right. (Gossamer's a lefty, Tiffany a righty.) Personality: Inseparable, and with the annoying habit of finishing each other's sentences. More then that, they speak as if they are one mind, which, to many, they truly are. It physically pains them to be separated one from the other. Their movements are always a fluid grace complimenting each other, and are linked one to the other, sharing one heart beat. If you cut one, the other will also bleed, give one pleasure, the other will also shudder. Some believe the sisters are really one, sharing one soul, living in two distinct forms. Free spirits, they were once just a tiny part of a great faerie nation. They lived within lush forests, sleeping within the canopied boughs of the great trees or on the soft mossy floor beneath the stars. Only the harshest weather could drive them to seek shelter, hiding within the shallow entrances to caves. Hidden as they were, from the rest of the world, the girls had almost no concept even of it's existence. Oh, there were stories, always stories, from the elders, who had claims of having seen it, and even from their own mother. Her stories seemed to the girls, even less believable. She seemed always to have been a part of this great wood. But danger loomed, it's rather loud and disgusting head, in the form of cacophonious, destructive machinery. They could remember the first time such a raucus sound came upon them, tossing them violently from their blissful repose. They'd gone running in search of their mother, only to find her on the edge... the edge of the forest. No. This only yesterday, was the middle, or so. The very center of their world. Tears so thick in her eyes would seem also to have caught in her throat as the woman was momentarily stricken mute. Their home, and all they'd ever known... gone. Just like that. Magic had protected them all their lives, but it did little to protect them from this. A few had dared to rush in, wreaking havoc in whatever way they could to prevent the destruction. Nothing worked however, they were out numbered, and over powered. Too many lay dead amid the fallen trees. Among them the dryad the girls had known their entire lives. The girls had by then reached the right age, and so, teary eyed and heartbroken they were sent across the great sea to a new land, the isle of demons, their mother had called it. Not the best name, as it only set a deeper fear in their hearts of the turmoil their lives now were. Of course, it was to the school there, that they were going, and there, thankfully, they were welcomed into a home that seemed in no way destined for demolition. Of course... their was the issue of sleeping indoors, and having to wear clothes most of the time. There were other issues, like homesickness. But eventually the two learned to adapt. ![]() Family: Each other Weakness: Each other. Very fragile forms, they are easily hurt Magical Abilities: Glamour and other Illusions. Occasionally have managed invisibility (though it exhausted them completely). Their dust tends to be quite potent, especially when someone receives some from both. In fact, they are in every way stronger together, and in every way weaker when apart. Any Training: Special Skills: Flying. Faerie dust Look familiar? It's Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. I do not own the Olsen twins. Their likeness is used simply for the portrayal of the characters Gossamer and Tiffany, who I do own. Gossamer and Tiffany are not me, they are not even real. They're characters I play for fun! If you see any icon in this journal not properly credited, please inform me so that I can rectify it. | |||||||||
